Harmony Nights In Grand Case
Every Tuesday for the next three months, from 6p.m until 10p.m, the main street of Grand-Case will be closed to motorists because of the yearly program “les Mardis de Grand Case” which consist in giving residents and tourists the opportunity to explore the stands putted in place for the events but also the hundreds of restaurants, boutiques paint shop who are permanently there.
The event attracts hundreds of local people together with the island’s visitors who come to enjoy among others, the Christmas parade, many local artists stands, the pretty majorettes, craftsmen stands, the special local food stand, musicians and various shows…..
The association ARCHA (Grand Case hotel and Restaurants association) has always been the one behind the project, but this year the new association of Grand Case’s Lolo, together with the chamber of commerce, the tourist bureau will be in charge.
The mayor office is also involved with the municipal police force presence every Tuesday night. Because of the number of vehicles broken into last year, the new parking lot provided by the mayor office, will be secured by private security company.
So the rendezvous is from now on every Tuesday in the heat of Grand Case main street.
