Divi Little Bay Resort starts staff incentive program

To promote motivation and keep a high quality of service to guests, Divi Little Bay Resort recently introduced a staff incentive program that gives guests the opportunity to rate the staff and service. Restaurant supervisor Walter Farley was one of the first to receive high marks in the program. All guests will be asked to complete a comment card prior to their checkout, or online after returning home, to help evaluate staff helpfulness, quality of service and meals, room satisfaction, housekeeping, and overall vacation experience at the resort.
Guests are encouraged to mention any staff member who provided them with exceptional service. Farley received the highest marks for providing excellent service at the resort, where he has been working for 25 years. He has been working in the hotel service business since 1979, when he started as a waiter. He received a token of appreciation for his efforts.
"You've got to love what you're doing and make everyone feel important. I have not called in sick in 20 years," Farley said. He has worked in many of Divi's restaurants over the years, including Papagajio, Fort Amsterdam, Bay View and Toucan. According to Divi's management, Farley is one of its great employees who provide excellent service to guests.
